With the new KNEHO product-ranges, based on renewable and recycled raw materials, we want to make our contribution to a positive environmental balance of our products and the entire product life cycle. Our commitment to sustainability is supported by several initiatives and certifications: This helps reduce the use of fossil resources and promotes more sustainable production. Our sustainability performance will be regularly evaluated by EcoVadis, an independent platform that reviews companies on their environmental, social, and governance practices. The rating from EcoVadis demonstrates our commitment to sustainable business practices. We rely on the use of renewable energy in our production to minimize our carbon footprint. Switching to green energy sources is an essential part of our strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Each of our products is equipped with a product passport that documents the carbon footprint throughout its entire life cycle. This enables our customers to make informed decisions and understand the environmental impact of their purchases. We record and report our greenhouse gas emissions in the areas of Scope 1 (direct emissions), Scope 2 (indirect emissions from energy consumption), and Scope 3 (all other indirect emissions along the value chain). This helps us take targeted measures to reduce emissions. It highlights our efforts to improve environmental performance and promote social responsibility. Since 2020, we have completely eliminated the use of solvent-based products in our production. This not only reduces environmental impact but also protects the health of our employees and customers. With these measures and initiatives, we are actively working towards a more sustainable future and helping to minimize the environmental impact of our products.
