SHARPLINER

Slot die technology for indoor line marking.

Precision low-pressure application for sharp indoor floor lines, reduced airborne particles and consistent film thickness.

Discuss a validation trial

A precision slot die system for indoor line marking.

The Sharpliner applies indoor floor marking lines using slot die coating technology - a precision coating method used for decades in battery manufacturing, pharmaceutical production and industrial surface finishing.

Instead of atomising material at high pressure through a spray tip, the system meters material through a precision shim chamber and deposits it as a controlled coating curtain from just 5-10 mm above the surface.

The result is a specialist application method for sharp-edged indoor lines, difficult-to-spray coatings and environments where airborne contamination, masking tape and film thickness variability create practical limitations.

SYSTEM

Slot die technology for indoor floor marking

PRESSURE

Max. 3.0 bar material / 1.0-1.5 bar atomising air

EDGE QUALITY

Sharp line edges without masking tape

01

Sensitive environments

For food, pharmaceutical, clean-area and active warehouse facilities where reduced airborne particles matter.

02

Sharp lines without tape

Line edges are defined by die lip geometry, eliminating the masking step for straight-line work.

03

Difficult coatings

Low-shear, pre-metered delivery for high-viscosity, fast-curing or shear-sensitive formulations.

The indoor marking problem

Airless spray is proven and efficient, but high-pressure atomisation can create overspray, variable line edges and operator-dependent film thickness.

The Sharpliner answer

A low-pressure, premetered coating curtain that delivers sharp, repeatable straight lines with reduced airborne particle generation at recommended parameters.

Key advantages

Reduced airborne particle generation vs. high-pressure airless
Sharp, consistent line edges defined by die geometry
No masking tape required for sharp lines
Pre-metered film thickness: shim, pump rate and walking speed
Low pressure: max. 3.0 bar material delivery
1.0-1.5 bar recommended atomising air range
Suitable for demanding indoor environments
Estimated 92-97% transfer efficiency in development observations
Supports difficult-to-spray formulations
Built on proven industrial slot die coating technology
